Canada’s Canadian Experience Class draw on 15 October 2026 issued 2,500 invitations to apply for permanent residence, with the lowest invited CRS score at 519. The figures appear in IRCC official Express Entry round data as round 449. The tie-breaking timestamp was 21 September 2026 at 19:00:47 UTC.

The result is specific to this Canadian Experience Class round. It does not mean every person in the wider Express Entry pool with 519 points was eligible to receive an invitation. At the threshold score, the profile’s submission time can also affect the result.

The invitation message is the working document

Candidates should check their own IRCC account, including the program named in the invitation and the stated next steps. Canada’s Apply for permanent residence through Express Entry says an invitation is valid for 60 days. Receiving one starts an application stage; it does not mean permanent residence has already been granted.

The online form generates a personalised document checklist. The evidence must support the information used in the profile, and changes in personal circumstances may require the score to be recalculated. IRCC also explains that a profile by itself is different from a submitted permanent-residence application.

Use the first week to identify missing evidence

An applicant can turn the checklist into a simple working register: document required, who issues it, whether it is available, translation needed, and the expected completion date. Start with items controlled by another organisation, since those can be harder to obtain at short notice.

Compare dates and names across employment evidence, identity records and the online form. Resolve differences with accurate explanations and supporting records; avoid changing a document merely to make it resemble the profile. Keep a copy of the invitation and the version of each document ultimately submitted.

For candidates who were not invited, the draw is a historical result rather than a forecast. A score that worked in one round does not establish the next round’s threshold or date. Check profile accuracy and expiry, and assess any possible improvement against the actual program criteria. The useful response to this week’s result is better preparation, without treating a single selection round as a promise of the next outcome.
